Innovation Activities
The success of technology industries operating in Finland is based on the latest knowledge in technology and business activities. The Finnish innovation system (http://www.research.fi) provides companies with a good opportunity to develop their expertise and technology to create new innovations.
The objectives of the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries are
- to reinforce the emphasis on technology, innovation and expertise in industrial policy
- to press for greater public sector research and development, which will encourage enterprises to increase their R&D investments in Finland
- a competitive innovation environment in all respects
The Federation of Finnish Technology Industries encourages enterprises to develop their businesses towards growth and internationalisation. Preliminary studies and reports are commissioned from our own projects and joint projects with interest groups in order to seek new openings in development activities. Companies and their networks are provided with assistance to launch their own development projects in cooperation with financing bodies and other interest groups.
