Maanantai, 27. maaliskuu 2017 - 13:30 - 15:00

Monday, 27 March, 2017 at 13:30–15:00

Eteläranta 10 Meeting Center, Auditorium, Helsinki, Finland

Protectionism is increasing and the US is turning inwards as President Trump is changing the direction of US trade policy. China’ role in the global arena is becoming more prominent and the US-China relation is becoming more tense. Can EU and China cooperate to defend free and fair trade and the multilateral trade rules? If there are large shifts in balance of global trade, what is the impact on EU?

The world is changing fast. What are the conclusions for EU trade policy? How can EU business interests be best promoted globally?
