ID in the Trade Register of Finland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal name of the company<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email address of the person authorized to sign on behalf of the company<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email address of the person filling in the application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Street address of the company&#8217;s headquarters in Finland\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mailing address, if different from the street address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Billing address, if different from the mailing address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Company form, choose one: Private limited company, Public limited company, General partnership, Limited partnership, Foundation, Association, Branch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of employees and turnover from the most recent financial statements or an estimate thereof if financial statements do not exist yet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic information and phone number of the CEO or Country Manager in Finland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact information and phone number of the person responsible for providing the annual information used for calculating the membership fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please have the information ready when you&#8217;re filling out the application. The browser session expires after half an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button  icon-right\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/jasenhakemus.teknologiateollisuus.fi\/en\/Home\/Index\">Membership Application<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-application-process\" id=\"application-process\">Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Processing of the application begins after the application has been signed. After the successful signing of the membership application, you will receive a message from the membership administration containing your own copy of the signed application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your application should reach our office about three weeks before the next Board meeting, so that our advisors have time to meet with you before your application is discussed at the meeting. The meeting with our advisors normally takes 1 to 1.5 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-signing-the-application\" id=\"signing-the-application\">Signing the Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The application can only be signed by a person who has the authority to sign on behalf of the company. Signing is done electronically and Finnish online banking codes are used for identification. The signatory&#8217;s signing authority is checked from the Finnish Trade Register during the electronic signature process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there are two signatories, fill in the email address of the first of them. The signing process will automatically send the first signing invitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the signature is approved, the first signatory will receive a confirmation and a request to forward the email to the second signatory of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signing process will send you a new message once both signatures have been approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your company cannot submit an electronic membership application, please complete the application and report the problem to our membership administration:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:jasenasiat@teknologiateollisuus.fi\">jasenasiat@teknologiateollisuus.fi<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-application-assessment\" id=\"application-assessment\">Application Assessment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When processing a membership application, the following matters will be assessed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list is-style-styled mt-none\">\n<li><strong>The company operates in one or more of TIF&#8217;s main industries. <\/strong>This means that the company&#8217;s own business activities fall within industries represented by TIF. For example, an advertising agency serving technology companies is not eligible, whereas a product design company serving technology companies is eligible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A company may also operate in industries outside TIF&#8217;s scope and belong to another employer association in respect of those industries.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employs personnel in Finland. <\/strong>For example, a sole entrepreneur is not eligible, whereas a company employing at least two employees is eligible. Agency workers are not included in the employee count.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Takes care of social and corporate responsibilities.<\/strong> For example, pays taxes, complies with applicable laws and regulations, takes good care of its employees and environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Readiness to follow the rules and decisions of TIF.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-notification-of-the-decision-and-commencement-of-membership\" id=\"notification-of-the-decision-and-commencement-of-membership\">Notification of the Decision and Commencement of Membership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Board Meeting Schedule: The meeting date will be confirmed at the autumn meeting in November. We will inform you of the Board\u2019s decision by email within a week of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The membership of a company approved as a member begins on the day of the meeting of the Board of Directors.
