SecD-Day presents technological innovations and know-how in the field of defence, security, space and aviation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SecD-Day 2025 promotes Finland\u2019s comprehensive security by producing information on current topics, products and services of the defence, security and aerospace industries. The two-day curated event consists of a conference programme and an exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SecD-Day was organised by Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries \u2013 PIA for the first time in Helsinki in the spring of 2023. The second edition of the conference and exhibition will be held at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no security without industry<\/strong>
The theme for the second edition of SecD-Day is ”There is no security without industry”. The programme, designed and built by PIA, will offer insights through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and industry presentations, in addition to the official opening session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, including Minister of Defence of Finland Antti H\u00e4kk\u00e4nen and Ms. Stacy A. Cummings, General Manager of NATO\u2019s Support and Procurement Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dSecD-Day increases direct interaction between defence, security, space and aviation companies and authorities. The new event was already well received the first time it was organised, and it has every chance to grow into a significant event even in the entire Northern European region. Moving to Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre and cooperating with the industry\u2019s leading event organiser enables the long-term development and growth of the event.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exhibition Spotlight: Over 180 Industry Leaders on Display<\/strong>
The sold-out SecD-Day exhibition will showcase the latest in security and defence technology from over 180 companies and stakeholders. The event has expanded its allocated exhibition space multiple times, now covering an area exceeding 6,000 square meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media representatives can register for the event via the website www.secd-day.fi<\/a> (select registration option 2, free of charge). A detailed media invitation with further instructions will be sent out in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
