Additionally, Industrial Union workers were on 24-hour strikes for a total of six days in December. The Industrial Union has issued strike warnings up to the first week of March, totaling about six weeks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s fourth strike week begins on the night between Monday and Sunday and ends next Friday, unless an agreement is reached before then. During the blockade, workers are at work but do not handle goods or cargo from certain companies, causing the products of Finnish companies&#8217; international customers to stop at ports. On February 8, the National Conciliator presented a settlement proposal to the parties, which would have significantly improved purchasing power but already contained a risk of weakening cost competitiveness. However, companies were ready to accept the solution to achieve labor market peace and deliver finished products to customers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 The trade union movement is still trying to force employers to agree to a solution that would significantly weaken the competitiveness of Finnish exports through strike power.
