Cyber Security Nordic 2025: Navigating the future of digital trust and resilience

Cyber Security Nordic 2025 once again gathers cyber companies, the private and public sector, and top-level speakers at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 4–5 November. First Stage One speakers bring perspectives on anticipating modern cyber threats, strengthening resilience through proactive security, supporting leadership with actionable threat intelligence, and highlighting the role of human decision-making in an increasingly automated world.
The event focuses on the role of cybersecurity in ensuring societal resilience, trust, and competitiveness. This year’s programme highlights key themes such as risk management and cooperation, secure digitalisation in Europe, and the intersection of democracy and digital policy.
“Cyberworld is evolving quicker and quicker. We must be more agile in our cybersecurity arrangements. New solutions and technologies are needed, without forgetting the key role of people’s competences in capacity building. These priorities are echoed in the Cyber Security Nordic 2025 programme,” says Aapo Cederberg, Senior Advisor, CyberSecurity Nordic.
First Stage One highlights
Markus Saaristo, Business Development Director & Teemu Tiainen, Business Lead, Elisa. The future won’t be defined by the smartest systems – but by the wisest decisions: This joint session from Elisa explores how decision-making, rather than technology alone, will shape the future of secure digital development.
Toni Koivunen, CTO, Fitsec, Cyber threat intelligence feeds (CTI) – How CTI supports executive decision-making: Koivunen explains how CTI turns complex threat data into actionable insights, helping executives prioritise and respond effectively in a fast-changing threat environment.
Kalle Salminen, Sales Engineering Manager, Trend Micro, Proactive security – How to stay ahead of the curve: Salminen outlines practical approaches for shifting from reactive to proactive cybersecurity to strengthen digital resilience.
Stijn Rommens, Sr. Director of Security Engineering, Vectra AI. Outsmart the modern, hybrid cyber-attacker: Rommens explores how organisations can stay ahead of AI-driven and hybrid cyber threats with proactive strategies and real-time threat detection.
Christine Bejarasco, CISO, WithSecure: A keynote session providing expert insights into the evolving role of cybersecurity leadership.
“Cybersecurity challenges affect both the public and private sectors, and solutions increasingly depend on cooperation between them. At Cyber Security Nordic, we aim to create a platform where this collaboration can deepen – where business leaders, public officials, and experts come together to share insights and shape a more resilient digital society”, says Anssi Rajala, Business Manager of the event.
Expanded Hackers’ Corner
The Hackers’ Corner, introduced as a new concept last year, proved successful and will be expanded to attract a wider range of professionals responsible for securing information systems – including product owners, developers, system architects, security specialists, and IT managers.
The event is tailored for IT- and ICT executives, cyber security experts, as well as private and public sector executives, decision-makers, and government officials responsible for cybersecurity.
The Cyber Security Nordic event is organised in collaboration with FISC. The event’s strategic partners include Cyberday, Elisa, Fitsec, Fortinet, HP Finland, Trend Micro, Vectra and WithSecure.
The event takes place in Helsinki on 4–5 November 2025.
