Nordes Oy is a Finnish engineering and design company specializing in shipbuilding, turnkey interior projects, and the design of marine equipment and systems. We serve shipyards, turnkey suppliers, equipment manufacturers, vessel owners, and other key stakeholders across the maritime industry.
Operating from Finland, we provide design, engineering, and project management services for newbuild, retrofit, and refurbishment projects. Supported by our subsidiary in India, our scalable execution model gives us access to more than 100 experienced professionals across all key ship design and turnkey disciplines while maintaining clear project ownership, quality control, and customer interface from Finland.
Our strengths lie in practical, buildable solutions delivered throughout the project lifecycle. We provide both basic and detailed ship design, covering general arrangement (GA), structural design, outfitting, 3D modelling, production drawings, and documentation. Within turnkey scopes, we integrate visual interior design with technical background disciplines such as piping, HVAC, and electrical engineering. We also bring strong capabilities in machinery and industrial engineering, complemented by in-house FEA and CFD analysis expertise.
