PIA Secretary General Tuija Karanko continues as NIAG First Vice-Chair
Tuija Karanko, Secretary General of the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries – PIA, has been re-elected for the 2026–2027 term as First Vice-Chair of the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG). The appointment further strengthens the position of Finland’s defence, aerospace, space, and security industries within NATO’s industrial community.
NIAG is NATO’s industrial advisory group that supports the Alliance in the development of its capabilities.
“It is a great privilege to continue in this role and to promote cooperation between NATO and the industry. I consider this especially important in the current security environment,” says Secretary General Karanko.
