Membership, news

At its meeting on 24 March 2021, Technology Industries of Finland’s Board of Directors decided that Technology Industries of Finland will no longer negotiate national collective agreements.

All member companies will remain members of Technology Industries of Finland.

A new employers' association, Technology Industry Employers of Finland, will be responsible for collective bargaining activities at a national level. The new association will operate as a sub-organisation of Technology Industries of Finland, and the two associations work closely together.

Members of Technology Industries of Finland who want to sign national collective agreements and be involved in developing these agreements can apply for membership of Technology Industry Employers of Finland as of 10 August 2021. In order to become a member of Technology Industry Employers of Finland, you must also be a member of Technology Industries of Finland.

In other words, each member company can be a member of either Technology Industries of Finland or a member of both associations.

The rule changes governing Technology Industries of Finland’s activities were adopted on 10 August 2021.
