EU ETS
Nordic online discussion: How to decarbonize Europe with EU ETS?
Join us to discuss and hear Nordic views on how the EU ETS should be strengthened to deliver a meaningful carbon pricing system that drives electricity and industry decarbonisation.

Fit for 55 will be the most comprehensive climate framework update that the EU has ever seen, and in the centre of the package is the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). How can we decarbonize Europe with EU ETS as the leading instrument?

Nordenergi is the collaboration between the Nordic associations for electricity producers, suppliers and distributors. Members are Danish Energy, Energy Norway, Finnish Energy Industries, Samorka – Icelandic Energy and Utilities and Swedenergy. Overall, Nordenergi represents more than 800 market actors (member companies), most of them active in the electricity sector, but also in other areas such as district heating, gas and services.

Technology Industries of Finland is the lobbying organisation for technology industry companies. We promote competitiveness and the operational preconditions for this, the largest and most important export sector in Finland. A constantly developing technology industry creates the basis for the Finnish welfare state. Technology Industries of Finland has over 1,700 member companies.
